Established in 1991 as a side project for owners Marc and Diana Oberschulte, Cottonseed Apparel has evolved into a wide ranging boutique serving women of all ages, sizes and income brackets. Cottonseed Apparel prides itself on providing only the most beautiful and necessary merchandise for you wardrobe and home. We are located in the heart of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and Leelanau Peninsula, one of the most geographically unique places on earth. Our hope is that our store reflects the natural beauty of the region. In 2005 Marc and Diana’s daughter, Ann returned home after spreading her wings in various other endeavors. Since then the family has established an even deeper bond that has resulted in a very successful seasonal business. It is a true old fashioned family business with everybody chipping in to further the success.
